Parents and Citizens Association
Annual General Meeting Tuesday 25th February 2020 at 5.00pm in the school library. All Welcome
Breakfast Club only runs on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8.15am to 8.30am in the undercover area. If anyone can volunteer their time in helping with the Breakfast Club in any way or would like futher information please contact the P&C ladies or Tina Garbelini in the front office. More volunteers would be very much appreciated.
Cooinda Primary School Parents and Citizens are at all times working in conjunction with the school Principal to ensure a safe, healthy, effective and harmonious school environment for our children.
The Functions of the P&C are to:
Encourage parents to participate in developing the school's educational policy.
Develop parent participation and involvement in the school.
Be the forum for parents to discuss issues partaining to the school and its community and for gathering opinions.
Promote and support communication within the school community and to bring educational matters to the attention of the wider community.
Have representation on the School Board.
Have representation on the local District Council of P&C Associations.
Provide extra amenities for the benefit of government school students.

A well run P&C with informed members should result in:
Genuine parent involvement in formulating educational objects, priorities and policy directions.
Efficient use of resources
Professionally managed business concerns eg canteen, uniform shop
A good working relationship with the school administration
Improved parent support
Interested community support
